I had mixed feelings about my experience here. On the positive side, she was professional in terms of her setup and technique. The environment was nice, she had a wide variety of tools, and the nail prep was done very thoroughly. However, what really affected my experience was her attitude. After seeing so many reviews saying how friendly she was, I was excited for my appointment, so I was quite shocked by how unfriendly, rude and condescending she came across towards me. I showed her an inspo picture and she explained that since it was an inspiration picture, she couldn’t replicate it exactly, which is completely fair. However, the final result looked quite different from what I envisioned. I expected the base to be more nude, although I acknowledge I should have clarified this before she applied it. She also didn’t have the exact colours needed for the design. Because of this, I asked throughout the appointment whether certain things could be changed or added. To her credit, she did check in with me and ask whether I was okay with the changes. However, I could tell she was getting annoyed whenever I gave more input. As a paying customer, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have input on nails that I’m going to wear and pay for. Eventually, her attitude made me uncomfortable enough that I stopped wanting to speak up and just wanted to get the appointment over with. I understand an inspo picture won’t be replicated 100%, but I think it’s reasonable to expect the overall look and vibe to be relatively similar. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my final set. I think she may be better suited for classic or simpler designs, but personally I wouldn’t recommend her for more intricate, trendy Korean-style designs if you have a specific look in mind. Ultimately, my biggest issue wasn’t even the nails, but how I was treated. I don’t want to feel uncomfortable or like I’m annoying someone simply for communicating what I want during an appointment I’m paying for. Because of how rude and unwelcoming I found the experience, I definitely won’t be returning.
