i don’t usually leave reviews but i think this needs to be called out. i booked tier 4 extensions ($85) for 10 may and sent the reference photo on 5 may. the nail tech acknowledged the design and did not flag any concerns / difficulty in recreating the design. throughout the appt, the nail tech was also very uncommunicative. she did not bring up anything relating to the design, colours or any potential differences & just dived right into it. the only qns she raised were on shape & length of extensions. when she was prepping the nails, she did not cut my natural nails (or asked if i wanted them cut) as well. naturally, i thought she could proceed w the design. i don’t make it a habit to critique my nail techs while they are working as they are the experts, not me. so i let her do her thing, only to be presented w that final result, which is clearly visibly different from the reference. i don't expect 100% when replicating an inspo pic but if a nail tech doesn't flag anything, it's fair to expect 90-95% similarity. when i asked her to compare, she also acknowledged that they look different. this is nowhere close. i'm just confused as to why the nail tech couldn't have told me she couldn’t replicate this. there were MULTIPLE opportunities. i would've changed to a simpler design or worked w you on smth within your means. to finish this appt when you know the design would be different is ??? and you would've happily received full payment if i hadn’t questioned you. this is frankly a dishonest behaviour and a huge waste of both our time. to be fair, she downgraded the service and only charged $60 but even $60 is ludicrous for the final result. white flowers on white base? who can see?
