You can update your Sody profile at any time to keep your details accurate and help salons recognise you. This includes your name, profile photo, contact information, and certain preferences that are used when you make bookings.
Good to know: Some information, like your verified phone number or email, may be needed for important notifications about your bookings, disputes, and safety-related updates. Make sure this information stays up to date so salons can reach you if something changes with your appointment.
How to update your profile details
Open the Sody app and make sure you are logged in.
Go to your account area (for example, tap on your profile icon or the account tab).
Select Edit Profile to see your current information.
Tap on the field you want to change (for example, your name, profile photo, or contact details).
Make your changes, then save or confirm. Your updated details will be used for future bookings and communications.
Your updated details will usually apply immediately for new bookings. Existing bookings will still show the information that salons need to recognise you (for example, your name and contact details), but if there are any urgent changes, you can also message the salon directly through the Sody chat.
Important: Some details, such as your primary phone number or email address, may be used for identity verification or dispute-related communication. If you change these, make sure you still have access to them and keep them accurate. Sody and salons may not be able to reach you if this information is outdated.
