Sody’s penalty system is designed to keep the platform fair, safe, and consistent for both salons and customers. Penalties are never financial — Sody does not deduct money from your payouts. Instead, actions focus on account health, visibility, messaging access, and compliance with service standards. The goal is to correct repeated issues, not punish honest mistakes.
Important: Penalties are applied based on patterns and severity — not single incidents. One-off disputes, misunderstandings, or isolated customer complaints usually result in guidance or a reminder, not a penalty. Repeated or serious issues such as ignoring disputes, safety violations, or customer misconduct may lead to stronger actions.
How the Penalty System Works
A dispute or issue is reported (quality concerns, no response, safety issues, misconduct, etc.).
Sody reviews the booking details, chat history, evidence, salon history, and context.
If the issue is minor or isolated, Sody may give a reminder or send educational guidance.
If the issue is repeated or severe, Sody may apply an account action such as a warning, reduced visibility, messaging restriction, or temporary suspension.
In cases involving customer harm, safety risks, or severe misconduct, Sody may take immediate action without multiple warnings.
Penalties help maintain trust across the platform. Most actions are reversible, and your account health naturally improves over time when disputes decrease and service quality stays consistent. Sody’s priority is fairness, support, and helping salons provide a reliable experience.
Tip: Many penalties can be prevented by responding to disputes within 72 hours, keeping communication professional, maintaining hygiene standards, and resolving issues early with fair resolutions such as partial refunds or redos.
