If you have downturned eyes, STOP SCROLLING RN. Downturned-eyed girlies, if you find that your experiences with lash extensions have been mid at best, ABYSMAL at worst, here's why: 1️⃣ Your eyes aren't meant for the typical cat eye > The typical cat eye mapping doesn't account for your eyes! Unlike other eye shapes like upturned eyes/ almond eyes, your eyes are tapered down from the middle to the ends of your eyes, making the usual cat eye mapping look droopy on you! 😣 2️⃣ Using the wrong curls > Due to the shape of your eyes, a mix of curls are PARAMOUNT to lift the outer corners in order to create that cat eye shape WITHOUT weighing down the ends of your eyes! ✨ 3️⃣ Lashing all the layers on your lash line > Contrary to popular belief, not all lashes arent meant to be lashed. Knowledge on which layer of lashes to NOT lash and which TO lash is the thing that makes or breaks a set, especially on downturned eyes! Bottom layers of lashes should not be lashed as it would either: cause lashes to droop down and obstruct the eyes, or cause shadows to appear on the eyes, both of which makes the eyes look smaller and droopier.
