I clinched first place in boxed submission - embossed art! This set was done using Diami rough gel, ponygello, and acrylic powder. Decided on this set cos I was trying out tweed desigs for Christmas, and practising roses after my recent 3d nail art course by Teacher @yumileenails 😁 While I know there are less odorous alternatives to acrylic (and monomer), I am still quite enamoured with the fluidity of the medium in its more malleable state. And no amount of YouTube videos could give me that "aha" moment when I see Teacher Yumi manipulate the ball of acrylic into a little leaf that seems to be unfurling before my eyes!
