I clinched second place in boxed submission - Stone deco art! The most challenging aspect for me in this category was the restriction on accompanying art. We were only allowed to use a one colour base, and could only use crystals 😅 I wanted to do some butterflies, but sticking butterfly-shaped crystals would be too mainstream right? 😆 While I planned for a more spectacular wing with different types of flatbacks, everything went out of the window once I transferred the crystals from a flat surface onto the nail... so I adjusted and adjusted... Finally decided to use chatons so that one side of the wings seem to be raised and flapping!
