If you’re a beginner lash tech/ a service provider...I have some advice for you! 🤜
1. NEVER undercharge.
This is whole ass discussion on it’s own. But I’ll keep it short here. Your price determines the QUALITY of clients you get. Undercharge and you’ll attract a certain kind of customers. (More on this in the future)
2. Focus on yourself.
As a beginner, I found myself constantly comparing my work to other artists. It made me feel so terrible on many occasions. But you have to understand that you’re literally just starting out. Your work is gonna be bad and that’s OK ; don’t charge full price tho, charge a small model fee and communicate realistic expectations to clients.
3. Be honest.
If a certain design, style, length, curl etc. is not gonna look good on a certain eye shape or retention is not going to be good due to certain factors, be HONEST and STRAIGHTFORWARD with the client. It’s better than having to deal with the consequences later, just because you didn’t communicate expectations clearly with your client.
